BRITA in PuBs - Approach The project is organised as presented in the project structure in the following figure. The activities follow the retrofit phases and are divided into design, application and use. All phases contain different research, demonstration, training and dissemination and management activities.
The choice of the building type was made to cover the whole sector of public buildings. From the table you will see that with the 9 demonstration buildings each type (habitation, social facilities, education and research, cultural facilities and services) is represented thrice in different climatic zones. By this the results can be generalised. The building type transport is not covered, because these buildings are rarely or never heated. For all building types, special attention will be given to listed buildings. |
